UM6P & UNIA preparing for the next meeting of presidents and rectors of Morocco & Andalusia

Within the framework of the bilateral meeting of presidents and rectors of Morocco and Andalusia, scheduled for next fall in Rabat, the President Mr. Hicham El Habti, participated in a working session preparing the bilateral meeting of presidents and rectors of Morocco and Andalusia, held on Friday, May 12 in Seville, with the presence of Mr. Ramon Herrera – secretary general of universities, Mr. José Ignacio García Pérez – Rector of the Universidad Internacional de Andalucía, along with other representatives of the academic ecosystem.

The main objective was to study and promote joint actions to strengthen ties between the autonomous community and North Africa in academic matters. Among the main focuses of this meeting, the organization of a meeting in Rabat with the rectors of Andalusian universities and presidents of Moroccan institutions, to be held next fall and will help lay the groundwork for joint initiatives, as part of strengthening academic, scientific, and technological cooperation between Morocco and Spain, and collaboration between the two countries in areas related to higher education and scientific research.
